Welcome to The Fatherless Daughters Network

The Fatherless Daughters Network is a community of Certified Fatherless Daughter Advocates dedicated to raising awareness of the profound impact of fatherlessness on a female's life. We provide transformational programs, workshops, coaching, and healing-centered events to schools, churches, community organizations, and individuals seeking help. This isn’t just another initiative. It’s a sacred calling. And it is more urgent now than ever before.

A Fatherless Daughter is any woman or girl who grew up with a physically or emotionally absent, unavailable, or unattached father or a flawed relationship with her father. While the causes vary—death, divorce, abandonment, neglect, or dysfunction—the impact is often the same: low self-worth, performance addiction, fear of rejection, and a deep yearning to be seen and chosen. Unhealed, these wounds follow her into adulthood, affecting her relationships with men and money, as well as her identity and self-value. But when healed? She becomes a force of power, wisdom, and generational change.

It wasn’t until I confronted and dealt with my own issues around fatherlessness that my life truly began to transform and uplevel. Why? Because until I faced that missing element in my story, I was not fully living my truth.

And when we are not aligned with the truth of who we are, we perform. We pretend. We achieve… but we are not fulfilled.

Even when success comes, it can feel hollow. Incomplete. Like something is still missing. For me, that “something” had a name. Fatherlessness. The second reason I had to embark upon this journey is that I realized I could not be truly effective in empowering women without addressing it. Two out of three women are deeply impacted by father-daughter disconnection — whether through absence, emotional unavailability, abandonment, addiction, rejection, or silence.

So I ask you gently… and boldly: Can you truly lead women into wholeness while bypassing one of the most formative wounds in a woman’s life?  I can tell you from experience — you cannot. Why This Work Matters

Millions of women and girls are silently suffering from unresolved father wounds. These wounds are not always visible, but they manifest in every area of life—from academic performance to relationship choices to workplace confidence and emotional well-being. Now more than ever, our girls need advocates. Our women need tools. Our communities need safe spaces for healing. That’s what we do.

The Problem

The absence—whether physical, emotional, or relational—of a father can leave a lasting imprint on a daughter’s life. A father who offers unconditional love and consistent affirmation lays the groundwork for his daughter’s self-worth, self-love, and inner value, which become vital pillars of her adult identity. In contrast, when a girl faces rejection, emotional distance, or neglect from her father, it can deeply damage her sense of self. If he is missing altogether or fails to meet her emotional needs, her confidence may erode or never fully develop. This lack of paternal presence can also distort her view of love, security, and provision—leading to internal struggles with inadequacy, insecurity, and emotional instability. Females Who Grew Up Fatherless Are: 

•  Eight times more likely to go to prison
• Five times more likely to commit suicide
• Twenty times more likely to have behavioral problems
• 32 times more likely to run away.
• Ten times more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol. 
• Nine times more likely to drop out of high school.
• 33 times more likely to be seriously abused.
• 73 times more likely to be fatally abused
• One-tenth as likely to get A's in school.
• On average, they have a 44% higher mortality rate.
• On average, they have a 72% lower standard of living.
